Fashion and dance at Juneteenth celebration in the Westside of Atlanta, Georgia

The Juneteenth was annual event to celebrate black freedom and history. The festival sponsored a fashion show, and dancers that you see here in Mozley Park in the Westide of Atlanta. Plenty more music, entertainment plus more were around the park. Plenty of chances for great photography images.

The Atlanta Carnival Parade 2015 in Decatur, Georgia

Atlanta Carnival 2015 Parade Decatur Georgia May 23, 2015 Saturday

Before writing this blog page, the photographer discovered that it is a good thing to post events  on a timely basis. He tried to find a post on the timeline of blog story for a body painter. He could not find the right post. This lesson served as a reminder to  current record dates and write more often about each key photography event. This writing process does take time but it is necessary to keep good records of flowing events and reminder to document important dates.

This blog displays very colorful images of mostly African American celebrating their Caribbean Carnival on the streets of Decatur which is a suburb city of Atlanta. The photographer decided to photograph the Decatur event for the first time. He had planned to photograph the usual Caribbean Carnival festival in Atlanta. From learning only a week early that a new group started another festival association in the Decatur. A decision was made to try a this new event. The group appeared younger compared to the Atlanta Carnival group. Both events were held on the same Saturday of Memorial weekend. This caused much confusion on deciding where to attend. After reviewing the facts of the day, the Atlanta Carnival had a smaller parade members. The Decatur parade  members appeared much larger with many varieties of colorful costumes. Loud music trucks fill the air with  vibrant  vibrant music. The party began in the parking lot before the members feet touched the parade street that started from Covington Highway and ended at Kensington Marta Station for the festival location. From viewing the stage and ground areas on the Internet, the grounds appeared smaller compared to location in Atlanta. The Atlanta Carnival reached large numbers based on viewing the posted images on the Internet. The Atlanta group had a least three live radio stations broadcasting on remote. The Decatur group had more participants in the parade. The conclusion is that some of the Decatur people may have left to attend the Atlanta festival to pack the  the Fourth Ward District festival setting. The church parking space and other neighbor businesses provided ample space to park. Trying to decide how to photograph the people to eliminate the shadow on the faces took a some minutes to figure out what were the best setting.Using a flash would fill in the shadows. The ladies whore elaborate head pieces that cast shadows. After a few test,  the camera setting were set without the use of flash aperture setting were open larger than normal to give the faces more light at the risk of create more highlight in the background.

 

Since there were many images photographed, we will show a part two. More scenes will be revealed from the street. You see a lot of partying in all areas of the street. Just follow the large music truck.

The Porsche Car Experience of the Grand Opening Day In The North American Headquarters in Georgia

It was a grand experience visiting the new Porsche North American Headquarters. The morning was dedicated to press conferences and tours of the facility. You would see countless numbers of photographers with cameras around the building. The evening hours presented a gala program in their new spacious auditorium. The amazing construction of the architecture was the spacious patio in the rear of the building. In one direction, you can view the test car track. If you turn in the opposite direction, you can look over into the auditorium were they held the ribbon cutting, fabulous singing and dancing performances. Later in the evening they changed the stage into a fashion show runway.

Spectacular Dance Production, Lord Fight this Battle

Soaring IntoDestiny Playbyshandriasanchez, the people who created the Spectacular Dance Production, Lord Fight this Battle, CEO & Producer Shandria Sanchez introduced music, testimonies, and spiritual dances to this event. The performances pleased the audience who attended. 

 Colorful flags filled the stage and waived in unison.

 Actors used plenty face and body expressions.

2015 Red Dress Party to Benefit the American Heart Association E37 Photography by Ralph Williams

The 7th Annual Red Dress Party held in Greater Metro Atlanta, Georgia. The proceeds donated to benefit the American Heart Association. Guess what was the most popular color of the night? The attendees wore all sorts of red dresses and the men wore a accent of red with their main colors black and white. This was the photographer's visit attendance to this event. The photographer knew some familiar faces from members who attended the Winter White Party in Atlanta. There were various set ups for photography. The main one was the infamous step and repeat with the company and organization logos, at another area a couch area with black background was very comfortable for several persons to sit. The hanging heart of balloons was chosen as photographer favorite position of the night. The red balloons blended and contrasted with the attendee attire for the evening. There were several rooms to explore. The VIP room where the lines were long for beverages and waitresses coming out every minute of with tasty food treats. Music filled the room with the dj but one main room had live music from a guitarist and singer. In the main room the committee celebration all the hard work that brought the event together. My favorite friend Jessica White was the host for the evening. A familiar face from her same role at the Winter White Party.

Piedmont Park Photography Project in Atlanta Ballet Dancer in the Back of Park

The Piedmont Park Photography Project featured creative imagery of E37 Photography by Ralph Williams. The ballet dancer in the park was the theme. She danced her way around the park in a very natural setting with trees, steps, swings, bridges. Christina Simkovich demonstrated her dance talents on two sets of ballet shoes. We photographed in the open spaces in the cool chill of the midday.

2014 WINTER WHITE PARTY IN ATLANTA, GEORGIA E37 PHOTOGRAPHY

 

 The 2014 Winter White Party in Atlanta  Dominated the News of E37 Photography's Instagram 

Imagine yourself surrounded by a sea of people by over thousand dressed in mostly white clothing. Some people attended the event in costumes, body painted, crazy hats, angel wings. Well, you were not in heaven you were at the 2014 Winter White Party in Atlanta, Georgia. Well over a thousand folks enjoyed themselves with variety of entertainment like Aeriel acts from the ceiling, pole dancing, colored swirling hula hoops, break dancers, jazz saxophonist, hundreds of beautiful models and more. Hundred of cameras in the room firing at every minute. More than one room had different activities on two floors. You could travel easy by escalators or steps without missing a beat. Cameras crew roamed the room for live interviews on the spot. This indeed was a very visual affair. It seems that most people enjoyed themselves watching the audience participation on the dance floors as well as the stage events. Hope you enjoy the images.
