Celeste Hunt Fitness Competitor from Atlanta, Georgia
I am way overdo from posting these images but I hope they will serve as an fitness inspiration for viewers. The featured person in this post is Celeste Hunt who is a 40 year old proud mother. The images you see were taken summer 2015 just before she won two trophies is a recent competition. She looked more defined afterwards with definition because she was in contest shape which meant she lost some additional fat to show more muscles. I am glad to present the images of her before contest time as you would normally see her in everyday situations still well toned with muscle but not in true contest shape. She had a beautiful personality and was fun to photograph. I also photographed some images with her son which made both of them look like the dynamic duo.
I decided on two locations which were all outdoors for the photography sessions. I wanted to display people in natural environments versus the typical gym routine look. We began in the morning in the downtown area of Hapeville, Georgia a small town located near the Hartsfield-Jackson airport which is just south of Atlanta, Georgia. You can see the train tracks in the middle of the downtown area which had tall crosswalks. It was challenge early to photograph with the sun reflecting the colors from the sportswear on their bodies. It was also necessary to position them in areas away from the bright sunlight to avoid eye blinks. We got it done. In one instances, the images displayed them doing push ups on the steps.
The next photography location took about twenty minutes of travel time but you will see it was worth the trip. We traveled to South Atlanta and arrived to see metal statues by Charlie Smith who created them for his trip to the Burning Man in the desert of Arizona which is an annual nationally known event. Before we photographed on and around the metal statues, Celeste saw piles of broken bricks near the area just sitting there to be used as a background. Celeste and son made the climb to the top for photography images.
Finally, we make it over to the metal artwork. The bronze brownish colors looked very rustic which made an excellent contrast against their blue clothing. Photographing two locations in one day with two clothes changes were accomplished. The images serve the purpose of promoting fitness. We hope you will visit us at E37 Photography website to see the other participants in the Fitness with a Flair section.

Success in The City Fashion Event @ Atlantic Station 2014
E37 Photography by Ralph Williams photographed Success in the City Fashion show presented by the Event & Fashion Show class. Dr. Courtney A. Hammonds hosted a viewing audience of over 200 + people, student volunteers (over 70 from AIA-Decatur and Dress for Success), entertainment (Amber Harris and Collective Element) models, Gap Inc. brands , Paul Mitchell, Strip restaurant, Atlantic Station (staff) and strategic nonprofit Dress for Success. The slide show music by Dominic Amato "Out The Gate" provide music added in the slideshow provided some smooth jazz sounds as the models walked the runway. Some of the images that followed are a representation of the show events. The event ended after the sunset at Atlantic Station with a definite change in the atmosphere of the program from light to dark. Camera lights were necessary to complete the job as the models walked the runway with only the red lights on the runway floor to support them. The lights of the skyline office buildings provided a spectacular backdrop of glittering lights in sky.

The photograph below is a collage of the volunteers who supported the fashion show. They wore black so they were easy to spot all around the area fenced off from the regular public. Seats were arranged on both sides of the runway with white chairs. Before and in the middle of the fashion event the musical group Amber Harris and The Collective Element performed. They also had a dj playing music before and during the breaks. The show ended with some of the sponsors on stage handing out papers to the students who finished the course from the Art Institute of Atlanta-Decatur. The school directors and a member representing the Gap clothing company were on the stage to talk. Everyone was very happy and smiling with the scene of a college graduation. I am sure there were many satisfied family members, and friends in the audience who came out for support.

The models below were from the collection of Gina Hadley, fashion designer. Her company is name Avantoooh. Her clothes varied in colors and designs. Princess Canty and her team designed the hairstyles that routinely seen at the Bronner Brothers hair shows. Patrice Story and Tatiana Wilson contributed to the makeup. The models were part of nine models in her group that walked the runway at the Taste of Runway Atl which was held in the World Congress Center in the downtown area of Atlanta, Georgia. Later, you will see more of this group and others models on the runway stage. This set of models walked the runway last in the evening. You will see other groups in the next blog post from the end of the program to the beginning. The event mixed with food, fashion and entertainment. Comedian Rodney Perry performed on stage. The host and hostess kept the audience interested between fashion breaks. The event also housed different vendors with variety of products for health and beauty, etc. The other major focus of this was the food. Some of the top chefs were in the room. The audiences were able to sample some of their delicious food while watching the performances.
Some people may have inadvertently been left out of the image posting from the Taste of the Runway Atlanta. I am sure you all realize that a fashion show of that length involved many people such as models, fashion designers,MUAs, etc. I wish to thank all who identified themselves and others when images were posted. This became a reality due to their proactive interest. If you have friended me and/or liked E37 Photography. Ethan: Model and Actor E37 Photography by Ralph E. Williams
Meet Ethan who is a rising actor and model. The images that appear below where taken in South Fulton, Georgia. We started our first photography session in the downtown area of Hapeville, Georgia where E37 Photography is located a few minutes away on Virginia Avenue. The wind blew his hair strongly to prevent us from shooting images at the top of a bridge in town. We decided to photograph Ethan near the newly built commons areas near the street of the city's museum. The city creatively added a chalkboard to the wall for one of Ethan's backgrounds.
The second set of images were photographed in Union City, Georgia which was about 30 minutes from the location in Hapeville. The bridge you see was especially built for the neighborhood people to cross over a stream of running water. It was very close to an elementary school which made it easier for us to park the cars at the location off the road. I did not bring a big production. I used a Canon 70D, Gary Fong diffuser on top of the Canon electronic flash for fill in on face. Overall, the images came out nice without the need for color correction. Ethan has nice long hair and it took some extra combing throughout the photography session to keep it place. This is the second time E37 Photography has photographed Ethan. Ethan modeled clothes for the fashion design winner of Fashion Uncorked event in Atlanta back in the Fall. You may see more of Ethan as he continues his progress in the entertainment industry.
