Tutu in Park ~ Fairy Moments

Somethings work out for the best when you put your mind to it. I imagined a creative project which served to help two groups. I was approached by a parent who wanted a different  photography look for her daughter's modeling portfolio. I connected the mother with Tutus by Cheryl, a fashion designer who had recently contracted me to photograph the grand opening of her new store. I thought it would be a great idea to bring them together on a project. I visualized the thirteen year old young lady looking like a fairy in the garden. I described the colors for the tutu skirt to the designer which were pink, white, and cream. I visualized the colors making a nice contrast against the earthy environment of the natural green leaves, brown trees, bridges and gray stones along the pathways.

On the day of the shoot, I accidentally discovered a running stream near a creek with shallow water and rocks with mounds of green moss in the background. The location looked like a scene from the movie set of Alice in Wonderland. The model and I actually stood in the water to capture some images. The water was cool and the rocks were hard on my bare feet. This area was my favorite scene from the photography session. I also figured it to be the most difficult but the best of the other choices that were previous scouted. In the end, the mother and daughter had some unique images for their modeling portfolio. The tutu designer had an original skirt to showcase on the Internet and elsewhere. It served to be a great promotional piece to share with her customers on the before her grand opening. E37 Photography also had an opportunity to share some images.

t was a win win situation all around. Now, it is your turn to view the scenes.

MeMoonlight The Loc Whisper...Loc Artist/Model The ‪PiedmontParkPhotographyProject‬ in ‪Atlanta‬

Rocks. Rocks. Rocks. MeMoonlight The Loc Whisper...Loc Artist/Model stood and sat on them but she could not wear them out. She modeled in the backyard of the famous Piedmont Park in Atlanta, Georgia. Not too many visitor ventured behind the park where this photographer captured the images you see here. The rock were planted to prevent erosion on the steep hill but it also provided a grand view for a photography background. The models and the different people are invited to participate in The Piedmont Park Photography Project. So far marvelous images were captured and hopefully many more will follow. Selena's black outfit and tutu made a nice contrast against the rocks. This is the second mention of this particular area of Piedmont Park

Piedmont Park Photography Project in Atlanta Ballet Dancer in the Back of Park

The Piedmont Park Photography Project featured creative imagery of E37 Photography by Ralph Williams. The ballet dancer in the park was the theme. She danced her way around the park in a very natural setting with trees, steps, swings, bridges. Christina Simkovich demonstrated her dance talents on two sets of ballet shoes. We photographed in the open spaces in the cool chill of the midday.

Model Imani and Deb Schenk are officially a part of the Piedmont Park Project in Atlanta, Georgia

Congratulations to Model: Imani who received the most popular likes on #E37photography social media  #Atlanta #naturalhair #naturalbeauty See more of her here>http://about.me/e37photography

From a child's perspective, let there be peace on Earth. Deb Schenk and I enjoyed watching Imani swing into the air without a care in the world. Captured, timeless moments like this will forever rest in her memories. She will always have this experience to remember of her day in Atlanta's famous playground Piedmont Park.

My friend model Imani, Deb Schenk, and I enjoyed the experience of Atlanta's Playground Piedmont Park, Atlanta, GA USA. Besides from the birds and a few people, we had the whole park to ourselves on a cloudy day. So peaceful and calm compared to previous visits. Let all records indicate this adventure as a documented experience edition to E37 Photography's PIEDMONT PARK PROJECT series.

Model Imani and Deb Schenk visit Atlanta, Georgia

On December 5, 2014, the photographer discovered that the Atlanta's weather forecast for the day was in the mid 50's and cloudy. This is not the scenario envisioned in the Piedmont Park for the photo session. Just a few days ago the weather was warm and sunny but since it is winter in the South the weather will change to cool temperatures on a day notice. I thought the temperature would be fine for the outdoor shoot but it would have been nicer to have some sunshine for the park scenery. We planned to photograph 9:00 am but we decided to photograph inside the hotel to wait for some of the  mist in air to clear. We chose to work in the tunnel which travels from the hotel to the Peachtree Center. The tunnel had clear panes on each side which made a nice view to overlooking the streets of downtown.

Our morning photo session began in the tunnel crosswalk over the city of Atlanta between the Marriott Marquis and the Peachtree Center. This is an Imani moment were she looks you straight into your eyes. ‪young‬ ‪‎model‬ ‪naturalbeauty‬ ‪‎naturalhair‬ E37 Photography

After we photographed for a while, we moved to another crosswalk with a tunnel that led from the Marriott Marquis Hotel to the Hyatt Regency. Here is one of the images in the area. Imani posed in front of a photograph of a familiar landmark, the Majestic Restaurant. How many know where this Restaurant is located in Atlanta? Another photograph on the wall showed a photograph of a Coca Cola landmark.

Finally, we traveled to Piedmont Park which was only about 15 minutes away from Peachtree Street. Look who we met in Piedmont Park. On the grounds the geese were having their morning meal. Imani decided to use them as props in the background. It seemed like there were more birds in the park than people this day. More to come...

Cross Appears in the Evening Sky and Old Tree in Hapeville, Georgia

The image you see was photographed with an Apple iPhone. While walking back to E37 Photography studio from a restaurant in Hapeville, Georgia after eating some barbecued chicken wings and potato salad. I glanced upward to photograph the sky around 6:30pm est. I did not notice till later that a resemblance of a cross appeared. Is this a sign of better days ahead. I would like to believe my faith to be on the positive side.

The image below was taken on the street on Virginia Avenue around 7pm est in the city of Hapeville, Georgia which was found in 1891. There are plenty historic places to see as well as modern areas. Delta Airlines and the new North American headquarters of Porsche are all in the city. This image represent the nostalgic past of the old days. If you walk across the street, you will see some of the Delta Airlines headquarters and parts of the Atlanta Airport.
